Samuel Liu

My name is Samuel Liu, and I am a Grade 9 student at Saint Andrews College with a growing interest in economics, business, entrepreneurship, and strategy. I am interested in understanding why businesses and markets behave the way they do, how people make economic decisions, and how strong ideas can develop into successful businesses. I have explored these interests through entrepreneurial projects focused on making golf more accessible, where I have thought about customers, pricing, operations, and creating value. Golf has also influenced the way I think, especially through competitive tournaments where strategy, preparation, and decision-making can have a direct impact on results. I enjoy looking at problems from both an analytical and practical perspective, and I hope to continue learning about economics and business while developing the skills to recognize opportunities, solve problems, and turn ideas into something meaningful.
