My name is Kevin Wu, and I am a Grade 10 student at Prince of Wales Secondary School in Vancouver, British Columbia. I have a strong interest in business, accounting, economics, and human resource management. I am particularly interested in understanding how financial systems, market strategies, and major corporations shape the global economy. My interests are reflected in both my academic studies and extracurricular experiences. As a member of my school’s Business Club, I have participated in business-related discussions, activities, and competitions, strengthening my teamwork and communication skills. Beyond school, I have expanded my knowledge through HarvardX and the Future Global Leaders program at the University of British Columbia, where I explored business, economics, finance, and the global economy. I also served as a member of the Human Resources team at Horizon Magazine, where I developed my organizational, interpersonal, and collaboration skills in a professional environment. Through these experiences, I have strengthened my analytical thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, and financial literacy. As I continue my education, I hope to deepen my understanding of business and economics while contributing to projects that promote innovation and create a positive impact in my community.
