Jacky Luan
Vice President
My name is Jacky Luan, and I am a Grade 10 student at Collingwood School in West Vancouver with a strong academic interest in business, economics, strategy, and how ideas scale across markets and communities. I am particularly drawn to questions surrounding entrepreneurship, organizational design, and the mechanisms through which engagement and influence are built. My interests are reflected in my leadership across business-focused initiatives, where I work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and education to design training systems, coordinate large-scale initiatives, and guide analytical work. Beyond formal organizations, I am also a nationally competitive chess player and the founder of Global Chess Village, an independent project that examines strategic board games across cultures while using digital platforms to teach high-level decision-making and strategic thinking.Through analytical inquiry, creative outreach, and systems-level leadership, I hope to explore how strategic thinking can drive innovation, connect communities, and generate scalable impact in an increasingly global context.
